Killapede is an Action, Arcade, Fixed Shooter, and Single-player video game published by Players Software in 1986. The game is based on the Centipede video game where the player has to shoot a centipede-like creature which gradually moves down from the screen’s top left or right to reaches the end of the bottom. The player can use a ship to attack the centipede and when attack it will divide into two parts and both parts still moving down the screen. During the game, the player will encounter the different amount of mushrooms which blocks the movements of the player and when the centipede hits them it will change the direction. Like other games, it has several levels and each level comes with increasing difficulty that the player needs to face while competing against insect-life form to earn points. As the game proceeds, further levels become available with powerful creature. With good mechanics, simple graphics, and smooth controls, Killapede is the best game to play.

The game offers the similar gameplay to Centipede and lets the player to control the ship from the bottom of the screen with an aim to take down the centipede which is gradually moving from up to down in the direction of player. The movement of the insect is horizontally from right to left or vertically from up to down. The player commands a ship loaded with weapon and the player can shoot the insect, causing the insect slit into multiple moving parts like the original. There is a number of levels and each has its unique difficult and background setting with amazing soundtracks. The player needs to score the points by attacking centipede and collect bonuses to gain new abilities. He can move in four direction such as right and left or up to down.
