Kid Icarus: Uprising (known as New Light Mythology: Palutena’s Mirror in Japan) is an Action, Third-person Shooter, Single-player and Multiplayer video game created by Project Sora and published by Nintendo. The game serves as the third title in the series of Kid Icarus and the first title to be released since Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters in 1991. It takes place in the stunning setting focused on Greek Mythology. In the game, the player takes on the role of the protagonist, an angel who is the servant of the boss of light. When the lord of darkness named as Medusa comes back to demolish the humanity, the game pits the player on missions first against the force of darkness, then against the Hades’ forces. During the gameplay, the player can command Pit (the protagonist) during the airborne rail shooter segment and the ground-based TPS (third-person shooter) segments. In Multiplayer mode, up to six players can participate in a single match to can battle against each other in competitive mode. The gameplay split into two styles such as Ground-based Segments and Aerial-based Shooter Segment.
