Kena: Bridge of Spirits is an Action-Adventure, Simulation, and Single-player video game developed by Ember Lab for multiple platforms. Playing as Kena is the main role, and help deceased people move from the physical world to the spirit world is the general task. While inspecting the world, the player views the environment from the third-person perspective.
The player uses the character’s staff to attack enemies and the pulse ability for defending against attacks. The player has to collect small spirit companions called Rots, who help him complete tasks and battle against enemies. The player has a shield that protects him from enemies. A health meter gets depleted as the character receives damage. The player can customize Rots with different hats, unlocked by making progress.

Throughout the gameplay, the player gets control over a protagonist named Talion, who is a ranger and equips many athletic abilities. The elf lord grants some spiritual powers to the protagonist when he shares his body.
The player comes across enemies of Sauron, and utilizing his powers and specific abilities, he must defeat them. In multiplayer mode, the player can make a team of four members and interact with them through the garrison system. The defeated enemies will drop loot boxes that a player must pick up for upgrades and recover health.
