Jumpman is a 1984 Action, Puzzle-Platform, and Single-player video game created and published by Epyx. The game offers a thrilling story, in which the base on the planet Jupiter has been sabotaged by the brutal terrorists, who have planted nuclear bombs throughout the bases of three buildings. The objective of the game is to explore the environment and struggle to defuse all the planted bombs in a platform-filled screen. It puts the player in the role of the protagonist named as Jumpman, who can defuse the bomb by touching it. During the gameplay, the player can run, climb up and down ladders, and jump his way through a series of levels to fulfill the objectives. There are two types of rope and each rope enables the single direction of climbing. The map of the game split into a series of levels, representing the floors of three buildings. When the player deactivated all the bombs, the map scroll vertically to unlock another floor of the building. Each level is full of platforms and enemies, and the player has to jump from platform to platform while avoiding enemies to reach the end of the level.
