Ju-On: The Grudge
Ju-On: The Grudge is a Horror-Survival and Single-player video game developed by Feelplus and published by AQ Interactive for Nintendo Wii. The storyline focuses on the family that recently moved into the cursed house. Several family members are playable in the game and each story is played from a perspective of the member being played in scenarios known as Episodes. The player uses the Wii remote to direct the flashlight of the playable character, rather than using the infrared functionality of the controller. In the game, the player is forced not to remain in similar place for long time or move too slowly to save his/her life. There are five stages available takes place in different atmospheres such as the mannequin factory, the hospital, a warehouse, etc. and each stage offers the set of objectives to accomplish. The game describes that the whenever person dies with a burning grudge, causing the birth of curse. In Run-down Factory, the family of Erika moves into the Saeki house. The family dog named as Ivy runs off into a factory and the protagonist decides to venture into the abandoned factory to find his/her dog. Each episodes comes with a cast of characters and a variety of challenges that the player must complete while experiencing the horror gameplay.

Alien: Isolation is one of the best Action-Adventure and Horror-Survival, Stealth and Shooter video game. The game offers a similar gaming experience to System Shock 2 video game and allows you to be the protagonist Amanda Ripley who embarks on a journey to find her mother Ellen Ripley and on her way to the secrets, she encounters the otherworldly aliens, engages into amazing combats with them on a space station named as Sevastopol. She gets trapped on the station and the only way out is to fight all the aliens, kill them using the advanced tech weapons and gadgets, eventually complete the game objectives. Alien: Isolation offers a huge arsenal of weapons at your disposal, a wonderful setting and story-line along with brilliant visuals and an addictive game-play to enjoy.

The Walking Dead, Developed and published by Telltale Games is an Action-Adventure, Graphic and Interactive Drama based on the comic book (The Walking Dead Comic Book Series) of Robert Kirkman. The game is set in an era of Zombie Apocalypse in Georgia, the story revolves around the life of the protagonist Lee Everett a former university professor, and a young girl named Clementine. Lee Everett helps a group of survivors stay alive and he leads them. Due to an open world gaming environment and a third person gaming perspective the player along with all the people roams freely and interacts with the item easily. The player controls the protagonist and helps him and other people fight against the hordes of zombies using every weapon they have. The life rate of survivors depends on the fighting abilities of all the fighters. With super cool graphics, a well-written storyline and many weapon choices, The Walking Dead provides with an amazingly fascinating game-play.
#3 Outlast
Outlast is a First-person Action-Adventure and Horror-Survival video game, developed and published by Red Barrels. This Psyche-horror game set in psychiatric hospital and features Miller Upshur as a patient of the above mentioned hospital who is incapable of any combat but knows about how to clear his way. With only a camcorder and a notebook in his inventory, he tries to get out of the facility and on his way out he faces the most unbelievable and unearthly hazards. Crawling and sliding through the vents, he carries on, on his way and gets followed by some really bizarre and strange beings, all trying to kill hm. Dodging all of the difficulties he continues his effort and finally gets out of the asylum but only to find out that he never actually is free yet. The twisted story and events of the game make you think like being a patient of the asylum too. You are forced to think like Miles and all the fears seem to be so real that you feel something crawling on your back. Play the game and feel the creepiness if you like playing games packed with Horror and Survival elements. You’ll definitely like it.
#4 Dead Rising 3
Dead Rising 3, by Capcom Vancouver, is an Open World, Action-Adventure, Horror Survival and a third person beat em’ up video game. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic era and features the protagonist Nick Ramos, who after the three initial days of the outbreak, scavenges for supplies like water, food and medicines. You as the protagonist act as you see suitable to survive by encountering the zombies and killing them in Melee Combats. You search for the possible safe zones to get to safety and find out that the only safe passage goes through the lairs of zombies. As the game mostly bases on the melee combats so you get only melee weapons to fight against the zombies. You can buy weapons and different melee techniques from in-game stores by spending your experience points (XP). Dead Rising 3 provides with an open world bigger than the world in Dead Rising and Dead Rising 2 combined, in which you can roam freely and travel to different locations and scavenge a larger area for goods. The game also provides with an extremely horror and action-packed gameplay. You will surely enjoy it a lot.
#5 Stranded Deep
Stranded Deep is an Adventure, Survival, First-person Exploration, and Single-player video game published and developed by Beam Team Games. The game takes place in the Pacific Ocean, and the story centers on a plane crash survivor stranded in the deep waters. You, as the protagonist, find yourself in the life-invading scenarios. The game introduces dynamic day-night and weather systems and includes a building system to create shelters on an Island.
In the beginning, you have limited resources and items, however, as the game progresses, you will get access to further supplies essential to survive longer. It would help if you managed your vitals of thirst, blood, hunger against the challenges you face.
