Joy Ride Turbo is a Kart Racing, Single-player and Multiplayer video game created by BigPark and published by Microsoft Studios. The game allows the player to select his avatar to drive several vehicles in the battle racing tournament against rival drivers. It acts as the sequel to Kinect Joy Ride and comes with several modifications, new content, and features. The offers the similar gameplay to Mario Kart video game series and is played using the Xbox 360 controller, unlike the previous titles of the series. The avatar of the player is used as a driver, while the character who is controlled by computer have a system created avatars, generated randomly. There are eight different competitors in the circuit, and the player will discover power-ups while racing against opponents to boost his power. In the game, the player can pick up one of forty-two different fictional cars each has its unique characteristics and stylized based on various vehicle tropes including tuner cars, muscle cars, and more. The game differs from other traditional Kart racer games because of its main focus on co-op gameplay. In the game, the player serves as the part of a team of racers with an objective to win races through efficiency, instead of speed. There are three modes, such as Time Trials, Story-driven, and Competition. It is a Sonic the Hedgehog-themed Kart racing game introducing both single-player and multiplayer modes. After choosing one of fifteen characters from the cast, the player can take part in races using the cars on courses based on locations from the franchise.
