Jeff Wayne’s The War of the Worlds is a Strategy, Adventure, Single-player, and Multiplayer video game developed by Rage Software. All through the game, the player has to adopt the role of either a human or invader Martian, where the main mission is to take control over the other territory.
The game takes place in Great Britain and contains over thirty sectors. The player has to explore all the sectors by moving the units all around, invade enemy territory, and examine each location’s resources. As the player invades the enemy’s sector, the game switches to the battle mode, where the player has to follow the principle of conquer-and-command.
The game features a pause-and-play mode where the player can pause the game to set up new orders. The most important task is to maintain the Command Post that allows the construction of major facilities and allows units to move around the enemy’s sector.

During the game, the player can battle against several bosses, and he must take down them to progress in the game. The character can run, jump, walk and attack enemies.
