Ingress
Ingress by Niantic is an Augmented Reality MMO and location-based Mobile video game. Based on a complex and Sci-Fi story, Ingress offers a totally open and continuous game narrative. The game features team-based gameplay in which you’ll have to be part of a massive competition where unlike many other MMO games, you cannot interact directly with other players but you can damage them and deplete them off of their XM, a fuel necessary to move and to communicate. The core gameplay of Ingress tasks you to capture the Portals, located at a number of places of high significance such as Parks, Public meeting places, landmarks and different monuments etc. You must link all the Captured portals to form various Triangular Control Fields located on a number of key geographical areas on the game map. The Control fields will then reward you with MU (Mind Units) that you can use to control the minds of people in your factions. With all the International links, Ingress has a huge player base around the globe and it includes players of almost all age groups. You must move in real life to reach to the Portals and Collect them by following the game map. For faster reach to the portals, you can also use any vehicles to reach to the points where the Portals are located and collect them, and keep on moving towards the more portals on the map. Ingress lets you play the game as an “Agent” and allows you to make a profile page on game’s website, fill in your information and enjoy being part of a beautiful world based on Augmented Reality.
