The game comes with Single-player mode and revolves around troop mobility, tactics and terrain topography. It serves as the sequel to Celtic Kings: Rage of War and introduces different civilizations to select such as Egypt, Iberia, Germania, Rome, Carthage, and more. The player must select his civilization, establish his empire, create an army and participate in battle to conquer the world. He has to gather resources to strengthen his army and craft weapons to use in battlefield. It takes place in the historical events where the player can explore the world from an isometric perspective, interact with NPCs, and fulfill the requirements of each quest to advance through the game.
