Hyper V-Ball is a 2D Sports, Side-scroll, and Single-player Volleyball Simulation developed by Video System Co., Ltd and published by McO’River, Inc. The game comes with three different leagues such as Women’s League, Men’s League, and Hyper League and it lets the player select his favourite league to start the game. Two action buttons are used while the players are playing the game, one for ordinary actions while another for Hyper plays, means special attacks that the player can only be learned and used in the Hyper League. To defeat the opposing team, the player must land the ball on the opposing team’s side. The members who aren’t under the control of the player will act on their own by positioning themselves. The primary task of the player is to score the highest points compared to opposing team to win the match. As the player advances through the game, he may face more dominant team. The game was released under two different titles for two consoles such as Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Venus for PS Vita and Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune for PS4. The game is played from a third-person perspective and retain the camera mode from the previous installment of the series. New game modes are introduced, including butt battle and beach volleyball. The game enables the player to choose his playable character from available and jump into the environment to compete against another team of two characters. The player needs to core the high points compared to opposing team to win and unlock further content using these points. Marie Rose, Honoka, Kasumi, Ayane, Kokoro, etc. are prominent characters of the game to select and play.
