Hunting Unlimited 2009 takes place in the 3D environment where the player takes on the role of the hunter with an objective to hunt wild animal his way across the most breathtaking environments of North America. The game supports Single-player mode only, developed by SCS Software and published by Retroism for Microsoft Windows. The environment is full of moose, whitetail deer, bear, grizzly, turkey, and more. The game is played from a first-person perspective, and the player tracks the quarry of his choices as he navigates the rugged land from Alaska to Texas and on South Africa. During the gameplay, the player can track and hunt over seventeen animals, and the player can use a series of weapons to fulfil his tasks. The player can design his perfect hunt using the in-game mission editor. The game rewards the player with points which he can use to unlock further content.
