High Seas Trader
High Seas Trader is a Naval Strategy, and Single-player Simulation created and published by Impression Games. It takes place in the sea environment where the player assumes the role of the protagonist, who is a trader and must struggle to run the trade routes, stop pirates, gather artifacts and provide the transport to countrymen in need. There are a series of quests, and the player will earn money in each quest while advances through the game. After collecting the cash, the player is able to purchase massive ships, advance firepower and massive cargo hold to climb up rank ladder. It takes place in the historic year 1650, where the player starts the game with a basic ship named as Fluyt and 5k gold. It has multiple nations such as English, French, Portuguese, Spanish and more. The player needs to define his nation to begin his adventure. During the gameplay, the player can place his earned money in the bank for safe keeping. The game is the direct sequel to Naval Ops: Warship Gunner, taking place in 1939 of an alternate universe. It mixes the technology of this period with a set of futuristic lasers and weapons. The gameplay is consistent with the historical event, World War II. The storyline of the game revolves around three or four officers as they struggle to lead the resistance to the coup of overthrew their king. There are many levels, and the game starts with the player select his one of four officers from available to start the game. The main objective of the player is to battle against opponents and take down them to save the land. As the story proceeds, an empire is declared controlled by Admiral Karl Wiesenberger and started making conflict. Naval Ops: Commander is a Single-player Vehicular Simulation developed by Microcabin and published by Koei for PlayStation and Microsoft Windows platforms. The game serves as one-player simulation, revolving around naval combat, in which the player controls an individual ship. The opening cutscenes are similar to its predecessor, and the game uses the same type of warships and technologies allotted in Warship Gunner. It differs from both title, by featuring a top-down perspective of playing, instead of a third-person viewpoint. In the game, the player is also allotted escort vessels to help him in missions. The player can re-arrange his escorts to different formations to enable better use of abilities. The game still allows the player for customization of his flagship. Weapon systems are the same, but the effectiveness and power of these weapons are different from other games of the series. The player starts the game with a destroyer and the small force of Escorts. After the first mission, the player selects what mission he or she does. The player earns money for different tasks done during a mission beyond completing the objectives.
