Herzog Zwei
Herzog Zwei is an Adventure, Strategy, Single-player, and Multiplayer video game developed by Sega. It is the sequel to the Herzog, where the player operates a mech through the battlefield to blast the roaming enemies. The player’s forces have finite fuel and ammunition, and the vehicles will not auto-repair.
As a commander, the player has to offer orders, and the forces will follow these commands until they either run out of fuel or are destroyed. The game has eight units with different abilities where the player can unlock them over progression. The game has nine outposts that serve as production resources on the battlefield.
Once an outpost comes under a player’s control, it generates additional revenue and serves as a remote base. A key mission is to capture as many outposts as possible. In a single-player, the player finds AI on the field, whereas the multiplayer mode lets the player play with a co-operative partner.
