Heroes of the Pacific is a Single-player and Multiplayer Combat Flight Simulation developed by Transmission Games and published by Codemasters. It takes the player in the Pacific Theatre of Operations during the event of WWII. In the game, the player takes on the role of the protagonist named William Crowe, who is an American. During the game, the player experiences several phases of the Pacific War with fictional Japan, starting with the Pearl Harbor attack in the year 1941. In the story, the protagonist’s brother named Charlie is murdered during an attack. After that, the player comes under the command of Admiral Daniel Howells at Wake Island. There are six playable modes, such as Instant Action, Campaign Training, Historical, and more. The game introduces two different control schemes for flying planes such as Professional and Arcade. For players, there are several difficulty levels, such as Pilot, Rookie, Ace, and Veteran. Completing a set of missions on high difficulty means several more planes will be unlocked to pilot.
