As the fifth main installment, the game offers a wealth of features but the same gameplay to the previous ones. Through the game, the player serves as a civilization leader and must collect resources for the faction.
Form the isometric angle, the player can view the entities deeply and manage everything strategically. The game’s skills have four levels, such as Basic, Advanced, Expert, and Ultimate. Each skill level gives the hero a chance to learn at least one special ability under the skill.
A hero with a Basic level can learn one ability; the advanced level offers two abilities, and the Expert level, ultimately, three ones. Haven, Inferno, Necropolis, Dungeon, Sylvan, and Academy are the six playable factions. All the characters from a faction learn the same racial skill and racial abilities. Each racial skill turns in an ultimate ability only if the player has learned specific sets of regular skills.
