Hero of Sparta II is an Action-Adventure, Combat, and Single-player video game developed by Gameloft. It is the sequel to the Hero of Sparta and offers the same gameplay as the original one. Throughout the game, the player controls a protagonist named Argos, where the main mission is to fight against multiple enemies.
The game consists of 11 levels where the player has to collect orbs from his defeated enemies. The orbs are of types such as green for health and blue for mana. The player may need to find hidden power-ups that can upgrade weapons for the player. The game has alternatives to Earth, Fire, Water, and Air in the game as Seals.
After collecting a set of the seal, the player’s weapon receives a special power. Argos can also activate quick-time events to kill the enemies as they get weakened. It will help the player earn more orbs. The game’s core features are 11 Levels, Two Orb Types, Different Seals, Special Powers, Health Meter, Quick-time Events, and Numerous Upgrades.

The game’s focus is on exploration and combat, where the player traverses through Koholint Island with the ultimate task to fight against monsters and explore dungeons.
As the player makes progress, he finds the dungeons will become larger and more difficult to explore. In the end, the player must defeat a boss character in each dungeon, and it will also get harder to defeat the boss in every dungeon. Successful missions will grant the player with heart containers letting the amount of damage increase. When all the heart containers have been approached to zero, the game will end at the preceding entranceway, come in by the character.
