Hell
Hell is an Adventure, Point-and-Click, and Single-player video game developed by Take-Two Interactive. The game takes the player to the future where the United States is in the control of a fascist theocracy that can send the criminals and sinners to hell and bring them back. While inspecting the game world, the player views the environment from the third-person perspective.
Gideon Eshanti and Rachel Braque are the two loyal agents of a law enforcement agency. The player can play either with Gideon Eshanti or Rachel Braque and lead the character through the puzzling story. The character does not matter as it has no effect on the puzzles but can alter the game’s end.
The player must acquire supporting party members throughout the game, where everyone comes with a separate small inventory of items. If the player replaces a party member with a new one, the replaced party member will take all his items with him. Each time, the player has to recruit party members by visiting the spot in the game’s menu.
#1 Noctropolis
Noctropolis is an Adventure, Arcade, and Single-player video game developed by Flash Point Productions. During the game, the player assumes the role of the protagonist named Peter Grey, who is a bookstore owner and winds up in the world of his favorite comic book. In this point-and-click adventure, the player needs to collect information and help the character make progress.
One night, Peter receives a package that eventually transports him into the Noctropolis, a city of secrets. Five deadliest arch-villains decide to gang up on Peter, mysteriously released from incarceration. The player has to find out who released the criminals and must stop them from wreaking havoc across the city of Noctropolis.
The player interacts with characters and objects that appeared in each world. Manipulation of items and solutions of puzzles is not easy. The player has to overcome the obstacles to advance the story. The game has a verb-based interface that shows up on the screen if the player right-clicks on the screen. Many conversations and cut-scenes are displayed inside a smaller screen of the main console.
