Hand of Fate is an Action Role-playing and Single-player video game developed by Defiant Development for multiple platforms. It takes place in the dungeons and puts the player in the role of the protagonist, who works his way through randomly generated dungeons, battling enemies while scoring the experience the points. There are numerous cards available, and each card has its unique spell and characteristics. At the beginning of the game, the player needs to generate his deck from customizable cards, struggle to reach the final boss of each dungeon. It mixes the Role-playing with deck-building and rogue-like elements. The player as the nameless hero that encounters a strange dealer in a cabin at the end of the land. The game starts with a deck of cards, comprising equipment, encounter cards and hero class. The player receives points for each complete levels, and he can use to customize his deck up to a fixed size.
