The game is played from a side-scroll perspective, and it enables the player to modify the story through his actions such as selecting the branching paths, commanding to several endings, and murdering enemies and civilians. The game has two modes such as Versus and Story mode and each offer unique gameplay. In Versus mode, up to six players can compete against monsters, bosses, and civilians using the main playable characters in the timed battle.
