Godzilla Generations is an Action and Single-player video game created by General Entertainment and published by Sega. The game comes with exciting gameplay based on the famous Godzilla franchise, and the player takes on the role of different massive monsters in order to an attempt to smash real-life Japanese cities. There are five massive monsters from the Godzilla universe, and the player can select one of them to jump into the game with an aim to destroy everything along the way. Each monster in the game has its unique skills, abilities, and playstyle. Other characters in the game are unlocked as the player advances through the game. The world where the game is set contained five cities, and each city comprises two stages, except the final Japanese city which has three stages. The ultimate task of the player is to advance to the next stage by smashing everything on the stage within a limited time like trees and buildings. Each character in the game is equipped with a projectile attack and has an ability to block incoming attacks.

The game has two modes such as 2-player and Player vs Computer and introduces two huge monsters from which the player selects his favourite one to jump into the specific location in order to complete the objectives. The city where the game is set gets gradually smashed as the two creature battle it out. During the gameplay, the player can interact with scenery by selecting boats and other objects to use as weapons against another rival player. There are many levels, and the player has to complete each one at any cost while playing the game to become the master. The game increases its level difficulty as the player proceeds through it. King of the Monsters includes core features such as Two Giant Monsters, Fighting Gameplay, Isometric View, Smooth Controls, Dynamic Sound Effects, and more.
