Gloomhaven is an Adventure, Strategy, Dungeon Crawler, Co-op, RPG, and Multiplayer video game offered by Flaming Fowl Studios. During the gameplay, the player takes the role of an adventurer who wants to enjoy the adventure of the dark corner of the world. The game allows the player to discover more dark locations, enhance their abilities, and make an interesting end by making perfect decisions.

The player chooses a specific scenario to play, and his decisions follow the further scenario. While exploring the world, the player battles multiple monsters with a card system introduced by the game. The player chooses two cards to play with, and each card contains particular powers at the bottom and top of the card.

At the player’s turn, the player will decide whether to utilize the top power of the first card and the bottom power of the second card and vice-versa, but both the cards must involve at each turn. The game allows the player to play in a squad of two or four members where each member equips multiple abilities and strategies.

As the player gets to advance, he earns more opportunity to lock-free the new abilities and perks. The abilities that the player unlocks will help the character to face wild beasts, terrifying demons, and bandits. Every decision of the player will lead him to a critical condition, and he must uses strategies to overcome these horrifying conditions.
