The game offers challenging gameplay, set in the year 106 AD when the Roman Empire is in terrible decline. After the death of the Empire known as Trajan, the Emperor Arruntius successfully conquered the Rome. The game starts as Invictus Thrax recounts, how the Roman Empire destroy and fell into the command of the cruel and despotic consular, Arruntius. There are several characters, and the player can use his favorite one to start the game where he is capable of using authentic weaponry against enemies. A large array of enemies are available, ranging from mythical creatures to brutal guardsmen. Each character in the game has its unique fighting moves, weapons, and a set of attacks that he can try on his opponents to advance. While playing the game, several power-ups appear that the player can obtain to become powerful. The game offers realistic fighting system, upon attacking enemies, their health bar is depleted and blood-spattered.
