Ghouls ‘N Ghosts is a Platform, Side-scroll, and Single-player video game by Capcom. Both Single-player and Multiplayer modes are supported in the game and it use the raster-style graphics. The game acts as the sequel to Ghosts ‘N Goblins and is the 2nd title in the series of Ghosts video game. It takes place three years after the events of the previous title, where demons and brutal monsters have come back and the light struck through Princess Prin Prin in order take her soul. As the knight, it’s up to the player to take down the evil named Lucifer and retrieve the soul of Prin Prin and other people. According to the storyline, the player as the Knight Arthur must proceed through the series of levels and take down the undead creatures and demons in his quests to restore the peace. The player moves in the environment from a side-scroll perspective, run, jump, and attack his way to take down enemies and make as many points as possible to become the master. The difficulty of the game will be increased as the player proceeds through the story. With smooth controls, side-scroll gameplay, and old-school graphics, Ghouls ‘N Ghost is the best game to play.

Ultimate Ghosts n Goblins is a Platform, Hack-and-Slash, and Single-player video game developed by Tose and published by Capcom for PlayStation Portable. This game is the first title in the main series to employ the 3D graphics while maintaining 2D gameplay mechanics of the previous games. The game is also the return of the Project Head of the series, Tokuro Fujiwara. It mainly revolves around the classic scenario of the knight named Arthur who is battling against demons but comes with several changes. The game has three modes such as Novice Mode, Standard Mode, and Ultimate Mode. Standard is the main mode of the game, where the protagonist named Arthur starts the game with six lives, and when the player loses one of these lives, the knight is resurrected on the spot. The armor of Arthur can now resist more than a single attack when it is powered up. The Ultimate mode of the game plays similar to the game titled Ghosts ‘n Goblins. The player has a smaller number of lives and once the live ends, the player is sent back to the pre-determined point of the level rather than being started.

Throughout the game, the player serves as Prinny, whose main task is to track down the ingredients for the Ultra Dessert for Etna, princess of the castle. Etna has provided 1000 squad members and ten hours to track the required thing.
Etna has issued a Scarf, which prevents the player from exploding. Once the player gets killed, the 1000 other members tossed up to the plate, wearing the same scarf. The player has various moves to perform in combats. A hip pound is a primary move that allows the Prinny to drop on an enemy. The player can also double jump to reach higher platforms.
The player has a sword to slash attacks and kill the monsters. By performing a basic attack in midair, the player performs a long-range aerial attack. Continuously spinning for three seconds or more will cause the player to become dizzy. The player has 1000 lives that make the gameplay long.
