Ghosts ‘N Goblins is a Single-player and Multiplayer video game with an emphasis on Side-scroll, Action, and Platform elements, developed and published by Capcom. This title serves as the first installment in the franchise of Ghost ‘N Goblins and takes place in the stunning land where the player controls a knight by the name of Sir Arthur. According to the storyline, the player needs to take down ogres, zombies, Cyclops, monsters, and dragons to save the Princess Prin Prin, who has been abducted by Satan, the king of demons. During the journey, the player finds weapons, extra suits, and bonuses that can aid the player in his goal. The player has limited lives, and he will lose a one upon receiving two hits. The player needs to start the game from the beginning position if he loses his life. The game rewards the player with points for completed levels. The exploration in the game takes place from a side-scroll perspective, and the player can run, jump, and attack using weapons his way through many levels. Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin lets you experience the blend of Platform and Adventure game elements, developed and published by Konami. Both Single-player and Multiplayer modes are featured, and the game introduces the English voice-over first-time, outside of its main release in Japan. It takes place in the year 1944 in Europe, following the event of World War II and continues the story from the end of the previous release. The new antagonists and protagonists are introduced to the series and featured two-character gameplay discovered in the previous title. It takes the player in the 2D world where the player moves from a side-scroll view and during the gameplay, the player is capable of switching freely between two characters named as Charlotte and Jonathan. Lots of new challenging levels are here to test the durability, strength, and skills of the player. Like the previous games, there are multiple endings feature available, and the end of the game depends on the decision the player takes during the gameplay. The game has three modes such as Sisters Mode, Richter Mode, and Boss Rush Mode.
