Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows is a mix of Adventure, Dungeon Crawling, and Hack-and-Slash elements developed and published by Midway Games for multiple platforms. The game supports both Single-player and Multiplayer modes and serves as the follow-up to Gauntlet Legends and Gauntlet Dark Legacy. The game fuses the action and fantasy fighting with the Role-playing and Strategic Customization and Collecting elements for Single-player mode, co-op and an online community. It introduces an interesting story, taking place centuries ago, where four immortal heroes were teamed up to serve the emperor. The emperor followed their advice but sought the immortality of the heroes. According to the story, six advisors used the immortality against him and tricked the emperor into crucifying warriors at the bottom of the land. In the game, the player needs to select his protagonist from available and start exploring the dungeons full of monsters. Each hero has its unique skills, abilities, strength and weakness. The player navigates the world from a third-person perspective to battle against enemies and take down them to save the land.
