Fusion: Genesis is a 3D Action Role-playing, Top-down Shooter, Single-player and Multiplayer video game takes place in the futuristic sci-fi world developed by Starfire Studios and published by Microsoft Studios for Xbox 360. The game mainly revolves around 3D Twin-stick Shooter gameplay with MMORPG elements, introducing an always connected video game world with players populating the globe. The game puts the player in charge of a spaceship, offering solo and cooperative quests for up to four-player. The character of the player is a lab assistant who commands the small ship. After the mentor of the player is murdered, he is left behind with the ship. There are five different factions, and the player can join them to start the game. Each faction comes with different missions and story, and enable the player to rank up and gain access to new content like ships and technology. The game also offers a chance to the player to purchase and sell cargo, attack enemy ships as a smuggler, or can scan the spaceships for illegal items, depending on the faction the player has selected.
