Formula One 2001 is an addictive Racing video game based on the Formula One Season, developed by Studio 33 and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for PlayStation platform. The game features Multiplayer mode where the player is capable of competing against his friends, family members or random players in a variety of tracks. It has two modes such as Arcade and Challenge. The arcade mode of the game follows the similar structure of Formula One 2000, however it comes with new tracks, vehicles, and drivers. In Challenge mode, the player competes against rival drivers with an objective to reach the end of each track while struggling to eliminate vehicles from the race to become the winner. The game introduces the small map at the left corner of the screen to display the location of the player as well as rival drivers. Each track contains 2 to eight laps and the player attempts to complete each one to become the winner. There are different vehicles and each vehicle has its unique characteristics, which the player uses in his favor. In the start of the game, the player has an opportunity to select the transmission as either automatic or manual. With improved mechanics, detailed graphics, and cool controls, Formula One 2001 is the best game to play.
