Myst III: Exile combines the Graphic Adventure and Puzzle elements developed by Presto Studios and published by Ubisoft. The game has Single-player mode only and it is the third installment in the series of Myst. It takes place in the fantasy-themed world and puts the player in the role of the stranger, who is a friend of Atrus. According to the gameplay, Atrus is capable of creating links to other mysterious worlds known as Ages by writing a book. The game offers the similar gameplay to its predecessors and allows the player to explore engaging, pre-rendered worlds called as Ages by using either the space bar or mouse clicks for movement around the world. It uses point and click interface to interact with environment and non-player characters. The player needs to explore the world from first-person perspective and struggle to complete a variety of objectives to progress through the game.
