Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones is an Adventure, Tactical, RPG, and Single-player video game developed by Intelligent Systems. It is the eighth entry in the Fire Emblem series and takes the player to the Magvel continent. Throughout the game, the player serves as a commander who has to engage in turn-based battles across different battlefields.
The game has five nations, and every nation has varied abilities to lay the enemies down. The game has optional dungeons where the selected units can battle enemies freely and earn XPs. When a single unit earns 100 experience points, it will gain a special star, and stats will randomly increase. All the characters can progress by earning experience points during the battles.
All the battles are turned-based, where both players and enemies take their turns to move across a grid-based battlefield. Both the parties can end their turn at any time, and from the same point, the enemy units can move. In each battle, the player has limited units that can be randomly selected and an objective to complete.
#1 Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon
Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon is an Adventure, RPG, and Single-player video game develop by Nintendo. Throughout the game, the player follows the story of a prince named Marth who finds himself on a quest to reclaim his throne. The game takes the player to the Archanea continent, where an evil sorcerer Gharnef and his dark master Medeus are waiting for the prince.
The player can access his and enemy location from the map at the bottom of the screen. The game has multiple chapters, and each chapter offers a large-scale battle that advances the story. As the player progresses, the player can recruit new units and unlock upgrades.
Before every battle, the players must prepare themselves, such as change the assigned weapons, forge new weapons, and manage the inventory to ensure victories. All the battles take place on a grid-based battlefield where the player and enemies have to clear the rival groups and capture important points. Each map has unique terrain ranges from mountains to rivers and flat plains.
