Final Fantasy VIII: Remastered is an Anime, Fantasy, Classic, RPG, Adventure, and Single-player video game offered by Square Enix. It serves as the eighth main title in the series of Final Fantasy and provides the same gameplay as the previous releases. The protagonist contains a default weapon at the start of the game and can upgrade it by earning points.
The game offers three main modes, such as the world map, the field map, and the battle screen. In the world map, the player can roam freely anywhere and explore the world by using a third-person perspective, and the player can run, jump, and drive cars, trains, and airships. The story centers on Kyle Dunamis, who is the son of previous title’s protagonist named as Stahn Aileron. After encountering a mysterious girl while struggling to rescue the orphanage of Rutee from bankruptcy, the protagonist is drawn into conflict with the antagonist. The player explores the environment from a third-person perspective and equips with several weapons that he can use to kill monsters and their bosses to gain experience and points. The game features linear battle system and takes place in a two-dimensional environment consisting of towns and dungeons as well as a 3D beautiful world. During combat, the player uses melee combat, arms, and unique moves to defeat enemies and level-up after gaining enough points.
