Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a Darklord
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a Darklord is a Tower-defense and Single-player video game created and published by Square Enix. The game acts as the part of the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles video game series and its storyline revolves around the Darklord who struggles to defend her mobile tower from hordes of attack as it traverses across the kingdom. Unlike other tower defence video games, it is played from a side-scroll perspective of the tower, and the player can place his units and traps to prevent foes from reaching the tower’s top. The game tasks the player with defending the tower from waves of enemies through a series of levels and each level takes place in a different section of the kingdom. During the gameplay, the player can use combatants and traps to fend off enemies by placing them in the floor of the tower, which they can’t be eliminated. The level ends when the enemies have reached the tower’s top, or when they all have been defeated.

The game supports Single-player mode, and it serves as the third video game in the series of Ghost ‘n Goblins. It is the remake of the game released for GBA (Game Boy Advance) which comes with additional mode and new stages. The player throughout the game controls Arthur (the protagonist) and start his struggle with only an ordinary armour suit. After proceeding, the player can upgrade his armour suit three times. The player navigates the world from a side-scroll perspective with an aim to battle against enemies and monsters to earn points. There are several time-based levels, means the player needs to complete each level within the time limit. The golden armour offers the player a shield which the player can use to block one projectile before breaking. During the gameplay, the player can discover hidden treasure chests which he can use to upgrade weapons, armour, and bonus points.
