Fight Night Round 2 is a Sports, Single-player, and Multiplayer Fighting video game developed by EA Chicago and published by EA Sports for PlayStation 2 and Xbox. It is marked as only the Fight Night game in the series to be released on the GameCube. The game introduces a new control scheme, Total Punch Control, returns in this title from Fight Night 2004. With this control scheme, the maneuvers and movement include punching, blocking and learning, are performed with right or left analog sticks. It mainly revolves around boxing gameplay, in which the player needs to start his boxer in the start and then jump into the ring to confront another character. The main objective is to take down the opponent within the limited rounds and claim the trophy. Each character in the game has its unique fighting skills and moves which can be used during the match to defeat the opponent. The game is played from a third-person viewpoint and allow the player to perform deadly attacks.
