Far Cry 5 is an Action-Adventure, First-person Shooter (FPS), Single-player and Multiplayer video game developed and published by Ubisoft. The game acts as the 11th title and the 5th main installment in the series of Far Cry video game, and it takes place in the fictional Hope country known as Montana. The plot of the game focuses on the unnamed junior sheriff, who becomes stuck in Hope country and must struggle to work alongside factions of resistance to escape. The game offers the similar gameplay to its predecessor and offers the open world environment, where the player can move freely either on foot or by various vehicles. Unlike previous titles, where the player assumes the role of the set character, the game offers the chance to the player to customize the appearance of his character. During the gameplay, the player can use a huge arsenal of ranged and explosive weapons to battle against foes, with a heavy emphasis on close-quarters combat. The player can use melee weapons like knife, etc. which the player uses during the combat against other players. Recruitment system is available in the game, in which the player recruit locals to battle alongside them similar to the system known as Buddy, used in Far Cry 2 and Far Cry 4.
