Fallen Earth is a Freemium MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online – Role Playing Game) video game developed by Icarus Studios LLC. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic era in which almost all of the humanity vanished from the face of the earth because of the heavy global wars, nuclear and chemical radiation and strange entities etc. The atmosphere changed dramatically and in result countless new and dangerous species started roaming the earth. The story kicks off with a deadly virus outbreak in India and Pakistan. The virus spreads rapidly and reaches to every corner of the world and it either kills the subject or mutates it to another strange and genetically degraded form. Meanwhile an American investment giant Brenhauer buys a controlling stake in a giant tech Corporation named as GlobalTech and sets up his headquarters in the vicinity of American Grand Canyon and forms a self-sufficient military state. GlobalTech makes it easy to incite a nuclear war by conspiring different plans and the world gets devastated badly. Only a small number of human populace remains alive and gets confined into outposts built in Hoover Dam Garrison and Grand Canyon. Fallen Earth basically tasks you with the objective of your own survival along with the ones who are dependent on you. Because of the shortage of supplies, you get to scavenge the areas outside the protected confines of Hoover Dam Garrison. You get assigned the duty of roaming through the ruins of the old world, engage in battles with genetically altered and mutated creatures, and fight off the operatives of six different factions along with the ones laced up with strange technology. It is the direct sequel to Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers. The game revolves around squad-based gameplay and lets you control and lead two different squads at a time called Bravo and Alpha. Each squad has a leader loaded with an M4 Carbine. Leader wields with GPS receiver which can be utilized to find foes location and mission objectives and can use radio to make connect with headquarters. While another team leader equips with an M249 Squad weapon uses to kill the hordes of enemies. There are two main factions available such as Human Alliance (Gerald, Kendal, Walden, Sir Duane, etc.) and Dark Legion (Lucretia, Cirith, Rithrin, and more). Infantry, Paladins, Archers, Artillery, Cavalry, Sappers, etc. are prominent units in the game. The player takes on the role of the main character and can participate in multiple battles against armies or units, controlled by AI. Unlike the previous title, the game takes place in the fascinating world and contains more content than the last title. It has a Single-player campaign and many multiplayer modes. The player needs to compete to control the points in the multiplayer games while struggling to complete a set of mission objectives to gain victory. The single-player campaign navigates the battle between the 8th armed infantry and the Arm of Orion. In the game, the player assumes the role of the protagonist, who is the main character in the first game also, and must complete eight challenging missions set in four environments. Like the predecessor, the characters are equipped with armor suits and can use overdrive to move horizontally to kill enemies his way through a set of levels. In the multiplayer modes, players are forced to work in a team to achieve objectives and defend one another.
