F1 Online: The Game is a Free-to-play, Browser-based, Sports, and Racing video game with management elements, developed and published by Codemasters. The game takes place in the stunning environment played from a top-down perspective. In the game, the player needs to compete against other players in online multiplayer races around a variety of game modes, including World Championship, Grand Prix events, and the quick-fire challenges as well as Time Trials. In the game, the player is capable of selecting how to develop his team and create, customize and upgrade the vehicles. The player will decide the name of his team, create a team emblem, select the livery for his car and choose the design and colour of the helmet. Using the customization feature, the player modifies his car by changing the components, including brakes, tires, engine, gearbox, and more to improve the performance on the race day. The game starts with the player choosing his playable avatar or creating a new one. After that, the player has to race against rival players in online matches and struggle to take down them or reach to the end of the track before anyone to win the race.
