In the game, the player is Etrom, an officer who lives in the dystopian world of Syghundia. During an epic mission, the protagonist finds out something unique, known as Astral Essence, and has left his force in search of strange answers, which leads up the first mission. The player moves across the world from a third-person perspective and can control the movement of the character using the point-and-click interface.
It is set in a fully 3D world, and the player has an option to navigate the environment from an overhead or isometric perspective. There are challenging missions, and each has its unique set of objectives that the player needs to complete at any cost. The objective of the player is to explore the land, use his mighty weapons, and release attack on enemies to smash them for points. The points can be used to unlock additional content to become powerful and to unlock further content.
