Empire Earth by Stainless Steel Studios is a Real-time Strategy (RTS) video game. It’s the first game in the series and allows the players to be part of the world, Collect Resources, Construct buildings, produce and look for the Citizens, raise massive legions of Army and invade enemy civilizations to expand your reign. Empire Earth offers 500,000 years of World History and divides it to fourteen different eras. The game lets the players start from the Prehistoric Age and slowly grow into the most advanced and developed civilizations. With an exciting Expansion pack named as Empire Earth: The Art of Conquest, Empire Earth adds up more new features to the gameplay and allows the players to enjoy it more. Furthermore, Empire Earth offers a fifteenth and new Epoch known as Empire Earth: Space Age that focuses on Advanced Space-based Civilizations and Colonization of the planets in the Empire Earth Universe. Empire Earth offers Epochs of different times and allows the players to enjoy gameplay in various eras such as Prehistoric Age, Stone Age, Copper Age, Bronze Age, Dark Age, Middle Ages, Renaissance, Imperial Age, Industrial Age, the Era of World War 1, World War 2, Modern Atomic Age, Digital Age, and the Nano Age. Space Age is added to the game as an expansion pack that comes separately. With a number of Single-player Campaigns such as Learning Campaign, Greek Campaign, English Campaign, German Campaign, and Russian Campaign, Empire Earth offers Multiplayer Campaigns as well. #1 Civilization
Civilization or also known as Sid Meier’s Civilization is a popular 4X Grand Strategy video game by MPS Labs. The objective of the game is to build a whole new Empire in the era of 4000 BC, expand the Empire, and slowly move from the Ancient Era to the Modern Times. Initially developed as a PC video game that could only be run on DOS, Civilization has undergone loads of extensive revisions, and it ported to more platforms over time including Windows, Mac, Amiga, Atari ST, Super NES, Sega Saturn, PlayStation, and N-Gage and now the game is available in multiple versions as well. With a Turn-based gameplay, Civilization offers both Single and Multiplayer gameplay modes and allows the players to take on the role of the Ruler of the Civilization. The players get tasked to start off the building process with one or two Settlement units, grow them up using all of the available resources and compete against two to six other Civilizations. To outsmart the other Civilizations, the Ruler must use the element of Micromanagement and complete various tasks such as Exploration, Warfare, and Diplomacy, and make decisions about the settlements of new Cities, and about all the requirements to build them. Barbarian attacks on the settlements is a really big issue and to resolve this issue, the players will have to find ways to eliminate the threat. In the beginning, the game allows the players to select any ancient race to continue with and offers choices such as Mongols, Romans, Americans, Aztecs and allows the players to lead the tribes as a famous historical figure. With a colossal historical scope of the game that begins from 4000 BC, before the great Bronze Age and lasts through the Space Age in 2100 AD, Civilization is one huge Grand Strategy video game that allows the players to immerse themselves in the gameplay deeply and enjoy it.
#2 Conflict Zone
Conflict Zone is an Adventure, Strategy, Single-player, and Multiplayer video game developed by Ubisoft. Throughout the game, the player plays as an unnamed character who has to battle for peace. The game has offered two playable campaigns, such as the Ghost campaign and the International Corps for Peace campaign.
All the missions take place in multiple locations where, once, fictional wars have occurred, like the civil war in Ukraine, conflicts between Indonesia and Malaysia, Nigeria and Niger, etc. Almost every mission requires the player to build a base and complete objectives for completion of the task. Conflict Zone uses a unique system where the player has to come with entirely different strategies for a unique challenge towards the opponents.
The players have to gain popularity points and unlock advanced units and buildings for making the base more strengthen. In some cases, the player has to employ AI commanders to perform extraordinary duties. Each commander has a specific strategy for attacking, defending, etc. By allocating resources, the player can perform various operations for victories.
