The game is played from an isometric perspective, and it is set in the stunning environment where the game puts the player in charge of a commander who is head of an emergency team comprising police, firefighting, technical support, and more. There are over 120 missions available, and the player needs to select between thirty-five different units with an aim to save people from terrorist attacks, accidents, or natural disasters. Freeplay mode in the game is also available, and the player discovers the Scenario Editor. The main difference to the previous titles of the series is the use of 3D objects and environment. The game becomes difficult to play as the player advances through it and additional levels will be unlocked to play.
