EarthBound
EarthBound or also known as Mother 2 is a JRPG (Japanese Role Playing Game) developed as a joint venture by Ape Inc. and HAL Laboratories. The game allows the player to be the main character of the game named as Ness and accompany a party of four individuals. Their task is to explore the world and collect various types of melodies to defeat the Evil Alien Force of Giygas. EarthBound is the second game in the series and only game in the series that was released in English. According to the storyline of the game, EarthBound tells the story about the events that took place five years after the events of Mother. The player is directed to act as a young boy Ness who goes on to investigate a meteorite crash in a nearby area. Pokey, a neighborhood friend, accompanies Ness. During the investigation, ness finds out that an alien force of unknown origins has turned the world into a dark place and all the living beings are converted into gory manipulated creatures. As a bee from the future tells Ness that the only way to eliminate the Alien threat is to collect melodies in a Sound of Stone, Ness starts off his journey with Pokey. On the way, more characters join Ness and he continues his journey to collect the Melodies and encounters the Aliens and other obstacles. EarthBound offers a bizarre but interesting story filled with all kinds of wonderful things, great characters, beautiful visuals, and interesting story-based gameplay. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team is a Role-playing, Rough-like and Single-player video game created by Chunsoft and published by The Pokémon Company for Nintendo platform. Like previous entries, the game focuses on procedurally changing dungeons which require being navigated by you and your companion Pokémon using turn-based moves. The plot revolves around the human who has been turned into a Pokémon and has created amnesia who later team-up with a rescue allies while locating who they are. There are sixteen different Pokémon such as Squirtle, Totodile, Treecho, Meowth, Eevee, and more. Each has its unique skill, power, and personality. The player can take on the role of the protagonist, and his main aim is to navigate the world to fulfill his missions and receive points. Costume Quest 2 is an Action Role-playing and Single-player video game for multiple platforms developed by Double Fine Productions and published by Midnight City. The game enables the player to take on the role of one of two twin siblings, named as Reynold and Wren. Together with companions, the group of characters travel through different environments, gathering various costumes and candies, in an attempt to take down the antagonist named as Dr Orel White, who wishes to see the end of the world. The game comes with the improved battle system and introduces a time travel-based storyline. The player explores the environment and takes part in battles to fight against monsters. Like the previous title, the player becomes more realistic and bigger and comes with new and unique abilities that can be used while battling the antagonist. The player manipulates the world from a third-person view, battle enemies using unique power and struggle to make the best points.
