E-SWAT: Cyber Police is an Arcade, Side-scrolling, Single-player and Multiplayer video game developed and published by Sega in 1989. The player commands the protagonist named Duke Oda, the member of the Liberty City Cyber Police Force, who is tasked with arresting and finding the most wanted criminals of the city and struggle to dismantle the terrorist group, planning the world domination. It offers the similar gameplay to Shinobi, where the player can jump up and down between different planes. The goal of the player is to find and capture the wanted criminal and face the boss at the end of each stage. The player character is armed with a single-shot pistol, but being promoted to ESWAT upon capturing three criminals. The player navigates the world from a side-scroll perspective with a task to complete all the levels to save the world from being destroyed. During the game, the player is armed with a power suit with the mount machine gun and the player can access special weapons within the stages.
