It serves as the 3rd installment in the series of Kessen based on the life of Oda Nobunaga. The game refines the mechanics of previous titles while introducing new core elements. The flow starts with the player choosing his playable character and mission from those available on the map. After being described on the detail of the mission, the player then choose which units to bring into the battlefield before releasing the orders. During the battle, the player commands the specific units and can switch between units anytime, while the other units led by AI (Artificial Intelligence). The battle takes place in turn-based battle system where the player needs to order his units to attack enemies to crush them before they destroy his units. Supreme Commander is the predecessor to 1997’s “Total Annihilation” if you consider it to and it offers almost similar game-play and mechanics and allows yo to have a totally unique MMO-RTS experience. With a futuristic game setting, beautifuly created 3D visuals and all the thrilling Campaigns in the game, Supreme Commander is one of the best games of this specific genre.
