The game offers an exciting gameplay based on the sci-fi novel of the same name released by Frank Herbert. It selects the player for the role of the protagonist named as Paul Atreides and set out himself on an adventure with emphases of military strategy and economics. The primary objective of the game is to drive out the antagonist named Harkonnen from the fictional planet Dune while managing the military, spice extraction, and technology. The troops of the player get access to weapons, as he progresses through the game. The player can explore the environment from an isometric perspective, lead his troops through different levels to dominate the battlefield and unlock further equipment, weapons, and items to play.
