Duke Nukem: Time to Kill is a Single-player and Multiplayer Third-person Shooter video game created by n-Space and published by GT Interactive Software. The game is available to play on PlayStation platform only, and the gameplay and controls are similar to those of Tomb Raider video games. However, aside Tomb Raider, the game references Black to the Future, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, etc. video game series. It introduces a two-player deathmatch option, where up to two players can fight against each other in the detailed environments loosely focused on the single-player stages. The story of the game starts with an introduction video of the protagonist who is riding his bike towards the Bootylicious Strip Club in Downtown Los Angeles, finding out the Pig Cops teleporting in to make him angry, tuning his beloved bike into a pink-colored bicycle. During the gameplay, the player can explore the environment from a third-person viewpoint, and his main objective is to become the master by taking on enemies and completing a set of levels.

In the game, the player is capable of deciding the fate of the protagonist by making investigations and displaying emotions that will assist the player’s actions from the First-person viewpoint like other interactive movies. There are a series of levels, and the player needs to complete each one by solving the tricky puzzles. In the game, the player is able to freely move across the areas of the world to find items and use when needed.
