Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below is an Action Role-playing and Single-player Hack-and-Slash video game developed by Omega Force and published by Square Enix. It takes place in the Kingdom of Arba, where humanity and vicious monsters live peacefully together. Suddenly one day, brutal monsters started to attack humankind leading the captains of the Royal Guard, Aurora, and Lucius, to retrieve the hearts of the cruel monsters. The game combines the hack-and-slash elements with the universe, monsters, lore, and characters from Dragon Quest series of Square Enix. It focuses on RPG elements than other titles of Omega Force. There are thirteen playable characters available to choose from, and each offers unique abilities and weapons. In the start, the player must select his character to jump into the world where he should battle against enemies to earn XP points.
