The ultimate task of the player is to use his kicking and punching abilities to attack an opponent while taking down to win the round. In Career mode, the player to fight against other boxers to gain popularity to reach the sponsored fights, or to be selected on ESPN. Unlike the previous games, the game defaults without a HUD (Heads-up display), enabling the player to judge the status of his stamina and energy.
