The third title in the series of Doctor Who, offering adventure gameplay, in which you take on the role of the protagonist who needs to investigate several cases and then solve them to advance through the game to reveal the mystery behind the scenes. The game is specially designed with the target audience of a TV program in mind, not a gamer. It is mainly mouse-driven, though you can use the keyboard as an alternative to performing all actions. There are several episodes available, and each episode puts your skills to test. So to proceed through the game, you must interact with other characters, gain information about assigned objectives, and then use them to complete the tasks to advance. You control the character from a third-person perspective, and you have to make points to unlock additional content. With well-written storyline, detailed graphics, and brilliant mechanics, Doctor Who: TARDIS is an excellent game to play.

The game takes place in the world of Twin Lakes City, and the player takes on the role of the female protagonist named Francis McQueen, a detective who must command the underfunded Darkside Division to investigate the evil appearances in the town. In the world, the cultist’s crawl and demon dwell, the player need to control the detective to solve the challenging mysteries. The game offers the adventure gameplay with a distinct sense of humour.
