DJ Hero 2 is a Rhythm, Music, Single-player and Multiplayer video game created by FreeStyleGames and published by Activision. The game is the sequel to DJ Hero, serving as the spin-off of the Guitar Hero video game series. It uses the special turntable-controller similar to DJ Hero, in order to simulate the Turntablism. Like the previous title, the player follows the specific actions on the controller in time to hit scrolling indicators on the screen of the playfield, making points for performing actions in time. It features a new Freestyle mode, granting the player a chance to crossfade between tracks, include sample music, scratch a section of mix, and more. There are over eighty-three mixes available on the disc consisting on more than 100 songs. The game introduces several changes and come with many improvements. It also improved the Single-player career mode known as Empire, offering more structure for the player to advance through the game than the simple defined lists used in the previous title.
