Disgaea 2
Disgaea 2 is an Adventure, Visual Novel, RPG, and Single-player video game developed by Nippon Ichi Software. It is the sequel to the Disgaea and requires the player to follow the same pattern as in the previous one. Through the game, the player takes control of Adell, the main protagonist, in his hometown.
The town is like a bridge towards story maps, side quests, the dark council, and the item world. At the beginning of every chapter, the game unlocks a new area. Each area consists of multiple maps that a player must beat to advance to the next chapter. Many maps also have cut scenes, and the player cannot skip the scenes at the beginning and end of each chapter.
The game has 13 chapters where every chapter has various challenges to complete. In the item world game mode, the player can select any item from the inventory and enter the world. The levels within are randomly, and the difficulty of enemies depends on the selected item’s rarity or power.
#1 Spirit Hunter: Death Mark
Spirit Hunter: Death Mark is an Action-Adventure, Visual Novel, Horror-Survival, and Single-player video game developed by Experience for multiple platforms. Throughout the gameplay, the player takes on the role of a protagonist named Kazuo Yashiki, who has to examine different areas to complete a chapter. Each chapter requires the player to eliminate a spirit and make progress.
The player has a default scar called the Mark, which allows him to contact ghosts and will lead to a perfect end. While going up against NPCs, the player sees the surroundings from a first-person viewpoint. The player can interact with any NPC who seems to be suspicious. The game has a series of levels where the player’s strategy will matter.
If the player finds the required clue, the chapter completes, but if he fails, the spirit will come to kill the player. The player must be careful in collecting all the clues and information to make his life continue and advances through the game.
