Defender of the Crown is a Strategy and Single-player video game developed by Cinemaware for Multiple Platforms. The game takes place in England in the past year 1149 during the Middle Ages where the storyline revolves around the death of the king, and different factions are battling against each other for territorial control. In the game, the player takes on the role of the protagonist, a Saxon and ultimate objective is to battle against the Norman waves of wrestle for the control of England. Eventually, the player needs to fight for taking over almost all territories, and also those controlled by other Saxons. In the game, the player has to amass forces and embark on a journey to fight and drive out the enemies by managing their castles. While playing the game, the player can engage enemy armies in fight, lot or lay siege to opposing fortresses. Defender of the Crown introduces core features such as Strategic Gameplay, Top-down Exploration, and more.
