It introduces the return of Frank West and takes place in the Christmas-themed Willamette Colorado. Unlike its previous titles, the game doesn’t feature the timer system or co-op gameplay. According to the story, Frank West, who is a former photojournalist and works as the professor in the college. One of Frank West students named as Vicky Chu approaches the professor and convinces him to assist her interrogate a military component in Willamette Colorado, the place where the first zombie outbreak. The player can take on the role of the protagonist with a job to kill as many zombies as possible while exploring the game world to fulfill the objectives. The player can navigate the world from a third-person perspective and can smash them using a huge arsenal of weaponry.
